Silver or Gold: which should you choose?
- Choose Silver if one person does the accounting on one computer, which suits most sole proprietors and small shops.
- Choose Gold if two or more people need to work on the same data at the same time over your office network.
- Consider Server only if you have many concurrent users and need stronger performance and access control.
What is TSS and do you need it?
Tally Software Services is an annual subscription that delivers product upgrades, statutory updates such as GST changes, connected services like e-Invoice and e-Way Bill from inside Tally Prime, remote access and TallyDrive backup. The licence keeps working without TSS, but you lose updates, so most GST-registered businesses renew every year.
Can I try Tally Prime before buying?
Yes. Install it and choose Work in Educational Mode. Everything works, but vouchers can only be dated on the 1st, 2nd and 31st of each month.
