How to upgrade to Tally Prime 7.1
- Take a backup of your company data with Alt+Y > Backup.
- Download the latest setup from tallysolutions.com.
- Run the setup and choose Update for your existing installation.
- Open your company; Tally Prime may ask to migrate data to the new format. Confirm and wait for it to finish.
!Check your TSS first
Upgrades require an active Tally Software Services subscription. If your TSS has expired, renew it before updating, otherwise the new release will not run in licensed mode.
